Mr. Biren is an associate attorney with the firm of Brownson & Ballou, PLLP. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota, the Federal District Court, District of Minnesota and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit.
Prior to joining Brownson & Ballou, PLLP, Mr. Biren served for 2 years as judicial law clerk for the Honorable, Michael T. De Courcy, Second Judicial District, Ramsey County, Minnesota. As a judicial law clerk, he played an active role coordinating every civil case involving asbestos litigation throughout the State of Minnesota. He also was involved in numerous high profile civil trials.
Mr. Biren specializes in civil litigation. He represents a wide variety of clients with an emphasis in products liability, toxic torts and personal injury litigation involving products liability, construction, water intrusion and mold, premises liability, and automobile accident liability.
Mr. Biren represents several defendants in asbestos personal injury litigation. He has been a member of a team of attorneys within the firm, serving as National Coordinating Counsel for a fabricator and distributor of gaskets in the asbestos litigation. He also serves as regional counsel in Minnesota and North Dakota for numerous manufacturers and distributors of asbestos containing products.
